Game Story :
Just two days before the Blizzard of 2001 came the "Penalty Blizzard"
of 2001 as this game featured 157 penalty minutes, a disqualification,
at times as many as six bodies one penalty box. Aside from the penalties,
it was all River Hawks tonight as Northeastern was horrible on special
teams and in a game with 157 penalty minutes, special teams will determine
the game.

Other Notes :
Tonight's action from all around the league set the stage for the Hockey
East Tournament. Northeastern will hold the 7 spot in the lower bracket
and will face Maine. If they advance they will face the winner of the UMass
Lowell/New Hampshire series as the River Hawks gained the 5 spot in tonight's
victory. Also, Northeastern held it's senior night tonight and they honored
seven seniors : Brian Cummings, Mike Jozefowicz, Matt Keating, Sean MacDonald,
Graig Mischler, John Peterman, and Kevin Welch.
